Allegra quite simply became a precious part of our family as she brilliantly instructed our two daughters for eight years. Her gentle guidance produced two lovely pianists that, instead of looking forward for every excuse to give up the piano (like I did as a youngster), can’t wait to delve into the next piece! She’s one of a kind!

Allegra was our in-home piano teacher for three years for my twin tweens. She lovingly addressed each one differently and cared not only for their musical growth and tastes but provided another upbeat adult in their life that fostered growth and perseverance. Musically, Allegra herself is a talented pianist able to flow through jazz, folk, pop, and classical genres. She analyzed the music, adapted it for my children and allowed them to own their music and perform it confidently. Through the years she became a beloved family friend, always with a smile, a calm and wise demeanor. I am forever grateful for her giving my children the gift of music. They still sit down to compose or play through familiar tunes.

Allegra taught my daughter for three years. She not only taught her how to play piano, she gave her the gift of loving music. Allegra is incredibly gifted. She has a kind, patient, sweet gentle spirit. I will always be thankful to Allegra for all she did for my daughter. She believed in her and was a wonderful teacher and friend. And she may show up dressed as Mary Poppins if you are lucky!

Allegra taught my son piano for many years. He was going to quit piano until he found the love of music through Allegra’s kind and warm heart. Allegra became so much more to my son then just a piano teacher. She became his friend. She has moved from Dallas so we do not get to see her right now, and we all miss her very much.
